SHOULDERS: Large, muscular and at an angle.
ARMS: Large, muscular and correctly placed.
FOREARMS: Large, wide and strong.
KNEES: Straight, wide and clear-cut.
CANNONS: Short, wide and clear-cut. Fine, well
designed, strong tendons.
FETLOCK: Large, straight, clear-cut and strong.
PASTERN: Medium, oblique (aproximately 45º),
smooth and strong.
BARREL
WITHERS: Oblique and well-defined.
CHEST: Deep and not too wide.
RIBCAGE: Deep, fairly convex. The ribs must be
arched, long and well joined.
LOINS: Short, wide, muscular and well inserted.
FLANKS: Deep and full. The lower line must be
straight.
RUMP: Wide, rounded and smooth.
BUTTOCKS: Large, horizontal, strong, smooth and
harmonically shaped.
TAIL: Well set and elegant.
HINDLEGS
THIGHS: Large, muscular and deep.
STIFLE: Large, strong and outstanding.
LEGS: Large, wide and muscular.
HOCKS: Straight, deep, large, clear-cut and smooth.
CANNONS: Short, wide and clear-cut. Fine, well
designed, strong tendons.
NUDO: Large, straight, clear-cut and strong.
PASTERN: Medium, oblique (aproximately 45º),
smooth and strong.
ACTION
WALK: Fast and very free.
TROT: Free, elastic, with low action.
GALLOP: Vigorous, free, showing good balance.
LIMB CONFORMATION AND OTHER DETAILS
As
to limb conformation and other details of the
forelegs and hindlegs, they should, in a horse
standing correctly, conform to standard.
UPPER
LINE
SHAPE: The horse should present three succeeding
and harmonious convex curves, according to the
illustration shown bellow.
